APPROVED EQUIPMENT
BATS:
- All 2 1/4 bats must have the USA Baseball Stamp
- Only t-ball bats in t-ball division
- No softball or t-ball bats in any division ages 7 and up
- 7/8 Boys-Bats must be 2 1/4 diameter & no more than 30"
- 9/10 Boys-Bats must be 2/ 1/4 diameter & no more than 30"
- 11/12 Boys-Bats with barrels that are 2 ¼” in diameter do not have a drop limit. Bats with barrels that are 2 ⅝” in
diameter must have at most a drop -10 (E.g. a bat with a length of 30” has to weigh at least 20 ounces).
Minimum barrel size is 2 ¼” and maximum barrel size is 2 ¾”. “USA Baseball” Stamp required
- 13/14 Boys-Bats with barrels that are 2 ¼” in diameter do not have a drop limit. Bats with barrels that are 2 ⅝” in
diameter must be at most a drop -8 (E.g. a bat with a length of 30” has to weigh at least 22 ounces).
Minimum barrel size is 2 ¼” and maximum barrel size is 2 ¾”. “USA Baseball” Stamp required
- 15/18 Boys-Bats must have the BBCOR stamp on them and follow high school regulations (2 ⅝”, drop -3)
BATTING HELMETS:
- All batting helmets must have the SEI/NOCSAE stamp
- T-Ball & 7/8 Boys only-all batting helmets must have a SEI/NOCSAE certified faceguard
- Cheek flaps "C Flaps" are not allowed-they are not certified for face protection
CATCHER'S GEAR:
- All catcher's chest protectors for the 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and 15/18 divisions must have the SEI/NOCSAE commotio cordis certification stamp and protector plate installed
- 7/8 catcher's chest protectors must have the SEI/NOCSAE commotio cordis certification stamp and protector plate installed or as an attachment on the front exterior of the chest protector
- A protective athletic cup is highly recommended
CLEATS:
- Cleats with metal spikes are not allowed
